Kelly Slater | 10 world titles | Where to now?

I just watched Jeremy Flores convincingly come from behind in both the semi final against Kelly Slater and then against Kieren Perrow in the final of the PipeMasters, both times, needing a giant seemingly unatainable score in the dying moments of the heat and he did it both times. Top effort there from the french speaking surfer from Reunion island. Meanwhile in the wake of it all, I’m left wondering, was this the last time that we saw Kelly surf on the world surfing tour? Could be…… We’ll have to wait till next years Gold Coast event to find out for sure, I guess. Personally, I feel quite honoured to have bared witness to many of Kelly’s achievements over the years. He’s absolutely one of the greatest sportsmen of all time. Good on you Kelly. Cheers mate…
