One of my Californian friends Ryan Smith just brought out a new book called Planet Surf. The book features a fair bit of my imagery, but the best part of course is the actual cover, itself.

This Is King Island by Sean Davey
I've been visiting this quaint little farming community island in Australia since the very early 90's and after 15 trips there and numerous requests from the locals, I felt it was time to put together a picture book . This is the the result. A glorious 120 page visual feast of the best moments from 15 trips, over 17 years. And although I have already published 2 books prior to this one ( Oceans and Fotografius da Alma ) this is my first completely self published book. From the camera, all the way to the printing press. This is also the highest quality book that I have produced. The wrap around hard covers in particular are amazing!
