Sean’s Value of Authenticity
Sean guarantees museum quality pieces that are said to be up to four times than what can be bought through some stores and online.
Using only premium papers, archival inks and exhibition canvas from Epson, the industry leader, Sean signs and dates every single print himself.
Along with each print he includes a certificate of authenticity, noting the name and size of the print, the medium used and the customer’s name, as well as a printed visual of that picture.
Relatively few photographers actually do print their own creations, especially really large pieces of art. This brings a lot of value to a print when it’s created from the moment of capture, all the way through the whole print process, even down to actual packing of the shipment.
I printed 4 large canvas’s ten years ago and stapled them to the ceiling in my studio-loft. On the other side of that ceiling, the hot Hawaiian sun beams down 24/7 and despite the heat that’s generated, those 4 canvas’s look exactly the same as the day that they were printed. No change in the color, the density, anything. Still just as bright and colorful as the day that I printed them.
